Files selected for conversion
The HEIC, WebP, and AVIF converters read the files you select inside your browser. They check, decode, render, preview, and package results locally in the tab. The OCR tool reads one supported image locally and runs the selected Tesseract worker in the browser. The PDF tools read, render, copy, and create documents in the tab. These flows do not upload your file contents to a Kivoza conversion, OCR, or PDF endpoint.
Output object URLs and decoded image data are held in the page while you use the local tools. Clearing the queue, removing an item, closing the tab, or leaving the page ends the page's access to those in-memory results. The browser may retain normal cache data for site resources.
Markdown routes
The Markdown workspace has eight separate routes. PDF, HTML, CSV, and JSON are local browser routes: the selected bytes or text are read and converted in the browser and are not sent to a conversion service. DOCX, PPTX, XLSX, and EPUB use the Markdown conversion service. Those four routes show an explicit consent checkbox and do not upload until you check it. XLSX sends the workbook when you select it so the service can inspect worksheet names, before the later conversion request.
For DOCX, PPTX, XLSX, and EPUB service tasks, the temporary input is deleted after success, failure, cancellation, or service shutdown. A successful result is kept in service memory for up to 10 minutes and then removed. Request logs do not contain document bodies. Markdown previews are rendered in the page and remote images are not fetched by the preview.
Site and resource requests
When you open a page, your browser requests the HTML, stylesheet, and application resources needed to display it. The HEIC converter requests its local decoder resources, while WebP and AVIF use browser decoding. OCR requests its local worker, WebAssembly core, and the selected English or Simplified Chinese language model only after recognition starts. The browser may cache the OCR model under the tool's local cache name so repeated recognition can reuse it. PDF requests its local JavaScript, worker, font, and rendering resources. The Markdown workspace loads its page resources; only the DOCX, PPTX, XLSX, and EPUB routes can send selected document data, after the explicit consent step described above.
Cookies, analytics, and advertising
The current static site does not set application cookies, require an account, or include advertising or analytics scripts. The converter does not need a conversion cookie. Your browser or network may still apply its own cache, security, or measurement behavior outside Kivoza's page code.

Links to other pages
The site links to the HEIC, WebP, AVIF, OCR, PDF, and Markdown tools on separate Kivoza subdomains. It also contains mail links that open your email application. A destination outside the static page may have its own terms and privacy practices.
